Xiaomi’s Poco has launched the new M series device, Poco M8 5G, for the Indian market. This device is a mid-range smartphone with a budgeted price tag. It has an AMOLED display, Snapdragon processor, MicroSD card slot, Android 15, 5G connectivity and a decent-sized battery. This device is 7.35mm thick and very lightweight at only 178 grams. Poco M8 5G Price
The new Poco M8 5G is priced at INR 18,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage option, INR 19,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage option, and INR 21,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage option. It will be available in India from January 13 in Carbon Black, Frost Silver and Glacial Blue colour options.

The new Poco M8 5G features a 6.77-inch AMOLED screen with a 2392×1080 pixels resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, up to 3200 nits of peak brightness, 3840Hz PWM high-frequency PWM dimming, and 12-bit colour depth. It is powered by an octa-core (4×2.4GHz Cortex-A78 & 4×1.8GHz Cortex-A55) Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 4nm 5G processor with Adreno 710 GPU. We have 6GB/8GB of LPDDR4X RAM options coupled with 128GB/256GB UFS 2.2 internal storage and expandable MicroSD card slot with up to 1TB additional storage.
It runs on the Android 15-based Xiaomi Hyper OS 2 and supports hybrid Dual SIM slots (nano + nano / microSD). It has a dual rear camera with a 50MP main wide camera with Light Fusion 400 sensor, 1/1.2.88″ sensor size, f/1.8 aperture, up to 4K at 30fps video recording and a 2MP secondary auxiliary camera.
